The extravagant Brazilians NERVOCHAOS have been playing old-school aggressive chaotic extreme music since 1996. With their persistence and hard work, they gained the status of a cult group in these genres. The boys play more than a hundred concerts a year, in clubs as well as bigger festivals. Guiller, Diego, Thiago in Edu will release their eight album this year, named “Ablaze”.

MARAX (SLO) are a symphonic black metal group, that combine members from different musical groups (Cvinger, Cordura, Morana).
The boys Anin Astaroth (vocals) / Nord Slayer (guitar, bass) / Morgoth (drums) / Žica (violin) were also a part of the compilation Metal 4 Lignit, where we can hear selected metal artists from the Šalek valley.

The exhibition Ambient Plague tries in its own speculative way think the smooth surface of the mutated tissue and morphogenesis that are filmed in an algorithmic environment of a 3D software in their biological and physiological process of growth in the moment its thin layer is consumed by the fever of HD horror.

Blaž Miklavčič is a post-graduate student of sculpture at the Academy of fine arts and design in Ljubljana. In his artistic experience he deals mostly with analysis and production in the field of digital aesthetics and VFX.

Twenty years of musical creativity, discovery and testing metal genre boundaries, multiple international collaborations and tours with known names of the international metal scene, and creating a characteristic atmosphere in their musical expression, reinforced the leading metal band at home, and made them more recognizable also abroad. Jure Longyke invited them to the show ”Izštekani”, and the sworn heavy weights accepted the challenge to transform selected ‘’angry’’ songs of the last three albums into gypsy, swing, folk and Balkan. We will hear them in the magical Huda luknja, where they will perform with a bigger band.  Noctiferia will be joined by an orchestra of wind, brass, string and percussion players, and a vocalist.

Samuli Kemppi, born in Lahti, is a DJ, producer, record label owner, and radio host of a worldwide known show about modern techno music – Deep Space Helsinki, and definitely one of the most well-known Finnish techno products. His music can be heard from Buenos Aires to Shang-Hai. Kemppi’s musical style goes from experimental electronic to a deeper variation of the techno genre.

Groove Bear from the Universe society will warm up the crowd, and will be joined by COGO residents Tonske, Mac-10, and Assembler. Performing: Samuli Kemppi / vinyl SJ set, Tonske, Assembler, Mac-10, Groove Bear.

The city centre will become an adrenaline playground for all sports enthusiasts! Skaters will show their tricks at the, now already traditional, Tito skate session #4. This time together with the crew from Urban roof, the leading agents in the field of urban sports in Slovenia. Screams of excitement and racing heart beat guaranteed!

Svemirko stirs and fulfils all low-wave and synthesizer dreams. They excite listeners as well as critics with their eclectic avant-garde dance punk and a completely balanced unit of feelings, skills, and qualities. Croatian macho with emotions and secrets of the cosmos in the palm of a hand if you are brave enough to grab it.

The Bass / Grime Sound / Dancehall / HipHop / Dubstep / Drum’n’Bass connection Kinetical & P.TAH came together spontaneously, and after their first few joint performances their chemistry and technical perfection excited listeners at clubs and festivals.

The duo Bombyx Lori originates from a classical musical environment. Alenja Pivko Kneževič and Simon Penšek, academic aliens, both composers by trade, have combined their vast musical knowledge into music in which they battle with a luxurious array of genres, close to trip hop and art pop. They will present their freshly released debut album ‘Little Gifts from the Universe’, which has already garnered praise from critics.

BeatMyth means exploring within, and most importantly, beyond the distinct club genre of electro breaks. Its core is the versatile producer Igor Vuk, joined live on the microphone by N’toko.

Andrej has problems with parents, school, social worker, police and judge because of his inappropriate and violent behaviour. When he is sent to a residential treatment institution, he finds a place in a small gang of boys, run by Žele. Together they get into reckless adventures, marked by violence, criminal deeds, parties, drugs, and alcohol. Under youthful recklessness Andrej is guarding his own secret. New friendships for the first time awaken a sense of safety and acceptance. This doesn’t last long, and after a series of events he finds himself before difficult decisions and realisations.

The cultural society for creative ides Magnolija was founded in 2017 and operates under the guidance of Tina and Neža Cestnik. The members of the society are connected by various activities, but most known are the dance workshops and oriental dance lessons.

Tjaša and Tomo Petek are a couple that not only shares life partnership and love of travel but also their love of yoga. They see their knowledge as a mission, knowledge that they wish to share with others.

By combining images, the author wishes to create an absurd and humorous atmosphere which doesn’t guarantee our essence means something, but it at least gives us an aesthetic pleasure and invites the observer to think about their place inside the possible interpretations of the world.

The music of the German duo ÄTNA is an adventure, riding between powerful extremes from
sensual tenderness to raw fragility. Somewhere between James Blake, Fever Ray and White
Stripes, Inéz and Demian have created their own microcosm. Their live performances are full
of authenticity and intensity, their artistic current flows with energetic and dark pop that
invites and carries away.

The Author’s project is a non-linear film exploration of observing and reaction. Landscapes of a
different world and showing things through imitations create a transcendental environment
for what is often a confrontational subjective theme. Each video offers an alternative
perspective on a specific social subjective theme and prejudice, on which we rely on because
of our need for categorical experience of the world around us.
Beside the exhibition, contemporary dance artist Neža Jamnikar, who participated in the making
of the videos, will give a short performance.

Who among us doesn’t sometimes feel like a donkey, that labours like a horse all day, runs
around like a chicken without a head, suffers like a dog, and is then fucked like a pig?
Animal farm reveals the sad truth how our very own despotic elites gradually degrade us into lower
lifeforms, to the level of animals.
And that is why everyone – horses, cows, geese, ducks – rise up for freedom!

Performance of lighting technicians
On the eve of Kunigunda’s final concert weekend in a special atmosphere, experienced (more or less)
light technicians will present their skills.
This time they will take on the role of the performer and will prepare a "lightshow" according to
their tastes.
Welcome all light enthusiasts, all who forget to turn off lights at home, and all the sound engineers
who, at the weekend, have sound checks with bands and regret their life decisions.
"More light!" were the last words of the German writer Johann Wolfgang Goethe.

Plays is an initiative of the Šalek student club and calls to incorporate tabletop games into our everyday socializing. Two Saturdays a month are dedicated to organizing gaming in the Bakery but the project will satisfy board game enthusiasts also during Kunigunda. Welcome groups with no games and gamers with no groups!

Krešo Bengalka is a popular hip-hop artist from Split, one of the founding members of the band
Kiša Metaka, and has been a storyteller of street stories for a decade.

MITO & YNGFirefly (SLO)
Some say they are from another planet where no one remembers anything. Others say a powerful
creative spark lit up between them and they combined strengths in grilling and grinding Slovenian
rap. They say flames rise from their MC acrobatics and the most profound beatmakers in Slovenia…
Most say they are ‘’lit’’.
Mito started his creative path in 2003 in the Maribor rap group TEKOCHEE KRU (Šuljo, Luga, Emkej,
Sniki, Stash, Gersh, Mito), he is active in the Velenje – Maribor collaboration VELEBOR. In the middle
of collaborations with other Slovenian rappers he also created his solo album EGON (2011), which he
recorded with the producer Šuljo, and later with a younger generation of producers
(Nite(Tropski&Nite), YNGFireflly, Tamau, Theejay (Wrong Idea) in Šuljo) he recorded his second solo
album titled BRATSTVO IN ESTRADSTVO.
YNGFirefly is a young Maribor producer/beatmaker. His music reflects the spirit of this time, and at
the same time, respect for classical musical masters.

Who will spew fire at the open-air cinema? All of Velenje’s rappers together!
From first steps (Bronxtarz) till today, Velenje’s rap is known as the roughest and most charismatic in
Slovenia. Plenty of Slovenian rappers have drawn inspiration from Velenje’s mine of rhymes, flow,
and style. Harsh sound and merciless lyrics have become timeless. Our representatives perform all
over the country, some even abroad.

MRFY (SLO)
Indie / rock
The four-member indie group has been living their story since 2013. Besides touring on their own
account, they also performed at the Ljubljana showcase festival Ment, responded to the invitation
of the French festival Europavox, where they were labelled as band of the day, and were invited
to the autumn tour of Siddharta. Despite all their performances, radio plays, and social media
sighs, MRFY is first and foremost a synonym for a group of four individuals that breathe, live, and
develop their music through ideas that express and connect.

THEE MELOMEN (HR)
Thee Melomen (HR) are a garage-rock trio from Zagreb, the members come from various bands
like The Babies, Erotic Biljan & His Heretics, Sloming Moops, Thee Mad & Hairy Wombats and
Vex & Voxtones. They describe their music as ‘’vintage, a return to roots’’. They have several
performances at home and abroad, their debut album ‘’Disappear’’ was also released on vinyl.

BEDNJA (HR)
Post black metal
Bednja are a (post) black metal band from Varždin, their music developed from frustrations,
rebellion, and disappointment with everyday life. Three musician and poets with expressive ‘’not
so happy’’ thoughts.

DRŽAVA V MALEM (SLO)
Punk rock
The local band Država v malem started in the middle of the nineties, under the influence of the
new wave American skate punk rock movement and the bands like Bad Religion, NOFX, Penny
Wise and Rancid. Their first concert was played in the cult Velenje’s Stiskarna and from there
they got the support and momentum for bigger stages all around Slovenia. This year they are
hosted by Kunigunda!
